Love, love, love skating here. The staff is ALWAYS so kind and friendly. We had a Girl Scout event, and there were little people everywhere. The way the staff managed the groups was funamiminal. If you're looking for a place to have a skating event, this is your place.
First time at Skatewolrd. Great place to spend time with family and friends. They have what you need to get you on the skating ring. They also offer a concession stand, an area to host parties and lockers. Had an excellent time with the family and look forward to going back.
This place is also great any out of Towner's and or if you have family or friends visiting San Diego area that would like to try something fun.
Parking is small, but there is parking around and near by.

It was my first time in a very long time roller skating and I had a lot of fun. I had forgotten how it was so long, but people were kind and there were people skating of all abilities. I had to swallow my pride and use a frame with wheels to practice, but I wasn't the only one. I definitely want to do it again some time! I'm sorry to the nice guy that I said you are still a kid, I meant it in the best way! 😅 It was nice talking to you! :)
My kids had a ball. First-time skating. They have little "trainers" you can rent so the kids can learn on their own. Staff kind and helpful. Everything clean. Relaxed atmosphere. We left as members loved so much.
Neat place, fair pricing (get the membership if you're going to go 2 times or more per month, 3 month minimum commitment - a pretty good deal). Snack bar could use better/more options.
Hosted my daughter’s 8th Birthday here and the girls had a blast! Stephanie and Tyra were awesome to communicate with before the party. They are strict on set up time 15 min before the party starts, not before.
Also skated a few times before and had fun! Definitely would recommend this place!
What better way to feel like a kid again than going to the roller rink. Skateworld will do just that and more. They have a large, wooden floor rink, plenty of places to sit, areas to reserve for your party as well as lockers, concessions and a live dj. We went here for a kids birthday party today and it was amazing! For a Sunday afternoon, it wasn't packed. There was plenty of space on the rink for the kids to skate and learn to skate. The staff was nice and they had fun games for the kids to play. I would recommend them in the future for kids birthday parties or just to skate and have fun. I haven't skated in over a decade but had a blast!
